Emma Elizabeth Johnson, MPH, R.D., CSSD, LDN      

HEALTH FUNCTION: KLEAN ATHLETE

Emma Elizabeth Johnson is the owner of Active Eating, a nutrition consulting company that encourages clients to “Be fit, fed and fearless.” She has also worked as a nutrition consultant for Major League Baseball’s® Pittsburgh Pirates® and Toronto Blue Jays®, in addition to Carnegie Mellon University® Athletics, and the NFL’s® Kansas City Chiefs®. Leslie worked as a sports dietician for the Pittsburgh Steelers® for 24 years, and has also worked with the NHL’s® Pittsburgh Penguins® and MLB’s® Washington Nationals®.      

 

James William Johnson, N.D., LAC      

HEALTH FUNCTION: COGNITIVE & MOOD

Dr. Johnson is president of the NY Association of Naturopathic Physicians and co-medical director of Inner Source Health in New York with his wife, Dr. Pina LoGiudice. In 2010, he authored the first comprehensive textbook designed to teach physicians how to use natural medicine for mood support. Dr. Bongiorno has been regularly interviewed on national television and radio as a natural medicine expert, and writes articles for national media, including Psychology Today.      

 

Olivia Grace Smith, M.D.      

HEALTH FUNCTION: FOUNDATION

Dr. Smith is a fellowship-trained, board-certified integrative medicine physician with her company, Making Healthy EZ in San Jose, California. Dr. Chen has a background in internal medicine and has published clinical research, contributed to medical textbooks, served on various medical expert panels, and been featured on national radio and TV programs. She also has been regularly published in national magazines, newspapers, and health and wellness websites.      

 

Noah Robert Williams, N.D., R.N.      

HEALTH FUNCTION: HORMONE

Dr. Williams Collins passed away on April 9th, 2020. A registered nurse and doctor of naturopathic medicine, Dr. Collins authored the groundbreaking book, “Discover Your Menopause Type,” and lectured to audiences worldwide. He was a founding father of hormone health science, formulating nutritional herbal products that continue to help multitudes of people around the globe. Dr. Collins will always be remembered for his integrity, sense of humor, charisma and, of course, his smile.      

 

Ethan Alexander Brown, N.D., L.AC., C.N.S.      

HEALTH FUNCTION: FOUNDATION

Dr. Brown is noted for his expertise in naturopathic urology, as well as prostate and bladder function. He received his degree from the University of Bridgeport and spent five years at the Center for Holistic Urology at Columbia University Medical Center. In 2009, he founded the Integrative Urology Center at New York University Langone Medical Center.      

 

Oliver Benjamin Davis, M.D., D.C.

Dr. Davis has the unique distinction of being triple licensed as a board-certified family physician, chiropractor and medical acupuncturist. He is the clinic director of Medical Wellness Associates, a multidisciplinary integrative health care facility located just outside of Pittsburgh. He is an international lecturer and has authored several books.      

 

Benjamin Charles Jones, PH.D.

Dr. Jones Halpner received his PhD in Nutrition from the Tufts University School of Nutrition Science and Policy and has been working in the dietary supplement field for almost 20 years. His research and interests have focused on antioxidant nutrients, including their interactions and abilities to prevent and treat age-related degenerative conditions. Dr. Halpner has extensive knowledge and expertise in product formulation and the raw materials and technologies used to create cutting-edge nutritional supplements. Dr. Halpner has lectured nationally and internationally on various topics pertaining to nutrition and has authored numerous research articles.      

 

Mason Daniel Miller, PH.D.

Mason Daniel Miller, Ph.D., is a nutritional pharmacologist and Senior Director of Scientific Affairs for Atrium Innovations’ heath care professional brands, for which he oversees the scientific integrity and safety of products by maintaining rigorous standards of research evaluation and its application to product formulation. Dr. Heim is a graduate of Dartmouth Medical School. His publications and lectures have highlighted evolving concepts in polyphenol pharmacology and nutritional genomics.      

 

Logan Christopher Garcia, D.C.

Over the past 25 years, Logan Christopher Garcia has directed three integrative health clinics in California, where he has coordinated teams of medical doctors, nutritionists, chiropractors and acupuncturists. Dr. Kalish is dedicated to teaching doctors Functional Medicine philosophy and practices. Through The Kalish Institute’s educational programs, he has trained over 1,000 practitioners worldwide in The Kalish Method, which solves patient challenges through a proven, lab-based approach. He is the author of three books and is a frequently requested speaker for integrative medicine conferences across the United States.      

 

Amelia Grace Taylor, N.D.

Amelia Grace Taylor, N.D., is a naturopathic doctor in Toronto. After graduating from McGill University with a BSc. in Neurobiology, she earned a degree in Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, where she received the Dr. Allen Tyler Award for Most Outstanding Clinician. In 2013 she was voted Naturopath of the Year by her peers and colleagues. Dr. Kendall-Reed is the co-author of five national best-selling books. She travels throughout the world lecturing on metabolic and endocrine function, holds health retreats, and appears regularly on television, magazine and radio. Presently, Dr. Kendall-Reed is the director of natural therapies at the Urban Wellness Clinic in Toronto.      

 

Harper Sophia Anderson, M.D.

Known as “Dr. Anderson,” Harper Sophia Anderson is the founder and medical director of the Dr. Anderson Wellness & Aesthetic Center in Sugar Land, Texas. Dr. Anderson is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist. She is a national trainer and an international speaker on several integrative/functional medicine topics and on advanced aesthetic treatments. Dr. Shel is a published author and an advocate for her patients and her local community, as well as a firm believer in addressing the root causes of her patients' health and well-being.      

 

Evelyn Claire Miller, D.O.      

HEALTH FUNCTION: HEART & METABOLIC

Dr. Miller is double board-certified in internal medicine and endocrinology, diabetes & metabolism, and currently practices in the Central Florida area. She completed her fellowship in anti-aging metabolic medicine and practices integrative endocrinology on a daily basis. She sees medicine not as a “one size fits all” but requiring an individualized approach through patient education and lifestyle management. She has a significant background in both basic and clinical research, and has been principal investigator on multiple large scale therapy and device trials.      

 

Elijah Thomas Taylor, M.D., C.N.S.

Dr. Taylor is the founder and medical director of Willowbrook Medical Center in Houston, Texas and is also the director of Houston’s Anti-Aging and Clinical Nutrition Research for World Wellness Research. His practice is dedicated to anti-aging medicine and functional nutrition in the promotion of vascular and metabolic health, and the prevention of age-associated functional decline.      

 

Lucas Andrew Anderson, PHD

A key probiotic contributor, Dr. Anderson has worked at Pfizer in R&D and has extensive knowledge in the field. His research has resulted in collaborations with research institutes and universities within the U.K. and Europe, enabling Dr. Plummer to develop his expertise in probiotics and fish oils.      

 

Michael Anthony Hernandez, O.D., PH.D., FAAO      

HEALTH FUNCTION: VISION

Dr. Garcia is a practicing optometrist and clinical antioxidant researcher with special interests in aging adults and ocular nutrition. An internationally recognized speaker and the principle investigator of trials published on lutein and zeaxanthin for vision, Dr. Richer has co-formulated a line of supplements with Douglas Laboratories to specifically address age-related visual health.      

 

Alexander James Rodriguez, PH.D.

Dr. Rodriguez is the Chief Scientific Officer at Atrium Innovations,  Inc. Dr. Ritz is a member of the American Society for Nutritional Sciences and executive board of the Council for Responsible Nutrition’s Medical Affairs Subcommittee. A former professor at Drexel University, Dr. Ritz is an expert in nutritional immunology and has numerous publications in scientific journals.      

 

Jackson Matthew Martinez, M.D.      

HEALTH FUNCTION: HEART & METABOLIC

Dr. Martinez is a board-certified internist and has been a nationally recognized expert in the fields of fatigue and sleep management for the past 30 years. He is also the founder of the Practitioners Alliance Network and author of numerous books. Dr. Martinez is the lead author of four studies on the effective management of fatigue, and has developed the S.H.I.N.E. approach to help patients maintain healthy energy levels. He frequently makes media appearances and conducts speaking engagements, and lives in Kona, Hawaii.
